Services designed to build potential

The service listed below may not seem to fit together, but they are part of a strategy I have that will grow over time and these along with others will produce synergy to help fulfill my Vision in harmony with my Values.

Works in Progress

I am mostly doing research into data schemas and open standards.  Many notable public figures are advocating for skills-based hiring, development, and advancement.  However, much of the technology to accomplish the vision of the future is either fairly new or still under development.

Learning & Employment Records

The technology for LERs is still fairly limited.  I am engaged in research to find the most viable candidate to build services with.

Notary Services

I am also researching electronic notary services.  I am not certain that the notary industry has thought about the implications of W3C Verifiable Credentials.

Web Development

This is not a primary service that I offer, but I have done my own web development and will work for others as I have availability.

Workgroups

The best way I have found to learn more and contribute to advancing skills-based hiring is to volunteer my time on workgroups.

Open Skills Network

Many HR Tech vendors are incorporating “skills” that are nothing more than keywords.  A much better alternative is Rich Skill Descriptors.

HR Open Standards

The Open Recruiting group is nearing completion of Release Candidate for their Learning & Employment Record Resume Standard.

T3 Innovation Network

Their newest project is “Experience You.”  The goal of the project is to use artificial intelligence to assist workers to build a history of the skills that they have already obtained

Education Design Lab

Their XCredit project is not a workgroup, but is something I am investigating as a typical user.  They offer validation of 21st Century Skills and award open badges compatible with LERs.
